Parent Participation

Moppet offers the opportunity to be involved in a meaningful way in your child’s first school experiences.

From social events and fundraising opportunities to volunteering in the classroom, our members cooperate to make Moppet a success. Your volunteer participation allows us to keep our program costs down, making Moppet more accessible for many families.

Board Positions

Volunteer positions include 6 Board member roles that work alongside the Program Supervisor, Treasurer and Registrar. Board member positions are fulfilling, hands on roles that guide the business end of Moppet, as well as plan how best to serve the Moppet community in the long term.

Moppet Board members meet monthly over virtual call, and inbetween work alongside other parents in committees like Social, Fundraising and Marketing.

Marketing Chair

The Marketing Chair works with the Marketing committee to update Moppet's social channels, as well as making updates to the website as needed.

Fundraising Chair

The Fundraising Chair works alongside the Fundraising committee to achieve Moppet's fundraising goals during the school year. Previous fundraisers include Mabel's Labels, Dominos Pizza, Rheo Thompson chocolate as well as a yearly online auction.
