Morning Program
9:10 am - 11:35 am, Monday - Thursday
This program focuses on socialization and play. The preschool years are a critical time for children to learn skills such as compromise, respect, negotiation, problem-solving, empathy and self-regulation. Play nourishes every aspect of the child’s development, and paves the way for learning. It forms the foundation of intellectual, social, physical and emotional skills necessary for success in school and in life. The curriculum includes opportunities to strengthen fine and gross motor skills, sensory and science opportunities, language, math, creative art and dramatic play.
We provide a fun, engaging and safe play-based program. Children benefit by receiving support and encouragement from both teachers and parents in the classroom. Toilet training is made much easier with our child-friendly washroom directly adjacent to the classroom.
Our morning program runs from 9:10 am until 11:35 am
Both Morning and SPARK programs run through the school year only
Both Morning and SPARK programs have 3 and 4 day options
SPARK Program
12:25 pm - 3:10 pm, Monday - Thursday
The foundation of the program is learning through play and exploration. Children will discover letters, numbers, science and music through fun, hands-on activities. Your child will learn to listen to instructions and follow them, learn self-help skills, fine motor skills (hold a pencil, cut with scissors), and learn how to socialize, get along with other children, and self-regulate. The focus of the program is on fostering curiosity and a life-long love of learning. We use the Second Step program to teach self-regulation and executive-function skills that help children learn to manage their feelings, make friends and solve problems.
We provide small group activities that will help your child acquire beginning reading, writing, math and inquiry skills. We teach to the individual needs of your child. SPARK is a solid stepping stone for your child as they prepare to enter kindergarten.
